The Mary from Dungloe Pageant 2009

Saturday November 28, 2009 was our annual Mary from Dungloe Contest.
It was held as part of our annual ball activities.

If you are interested for 2010, We are looking for girls between the ages of 17-25 to enter our contest. You don't have to have any specific talent to win other than to be Irish.

Kiera McDonagh

2010 - Philadelphia Mary from Dungloe

Congratulation to Kiera McDonagh our 2010 winner of the Philadelphia Mary from Dungloe contest.

Kiera McDonagh is a 2007 graduate of LaSalle University where she majored in Integrated Science, Business and Technology (ISBT). She graduated magna cum laude from the Honors Program, and was named the ISBT Department Award winner for 2007. While at LaSalle, Kiera took part in numerous extracurricular activities including EconomicsPennsylvania, Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE), The Entrepreneurship Institute, and GAELS, the Irish Social Group on campus. During her studies, Kiera spent a summer in Ireland and researched Irish history for her graduating Honors project. She was also able to travel to Vietnam as a part of her Honors activities. Kiera is currently working in Philadelphia as a project manager for Watchdog Real Estate Project Managers.

Kiera has a love of Irish history, culture and tradition and is honored to represent Philadelphia in Dungloe, 2010.
