ELECTION OF 2004 OFFICERS OF THE DONEGAL SOCIETY OF PHILADELPHIA

The Donegal Society of Philadelphia is pleased to announce the election of its officers for the year 2004. The newly elected officers were installed at the March meeting of the Association. Kathy McGee Burns was re-elected as President. She is the first female President of this 116-year-old organization. An active member of the Donegal Society for over twelve years, Kathy and her husband, Mike, are well known to the Philadelphia Irish community. They are the parents of nine children, many of whom are now members of the Donegal Society, and have nine grandchildren. Kathy is a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph's Academy and Chestnut Hill College; she attended Temple University School of Law for two years. She is a Realtor with Prudential Fox and Roach in Blue Bell, PA. Kathy's ancestors are from Gweedore in County Donegal.
